hi, i'm anyun chatterjee (pronounced "ah-noon"). i'm a phd candidate and researcher studying the communication processes between people and institutions, especially in public health contexts.

i work at temple university and children’s hospital of philadelphia, using mixed methods to study rhetoric, information processing, and public health program implementation.

my dissertation examines the heuristic cues at play when individuals evaluate institutional messengers before any persuasive messaging is delivered.

my broader research agenda to understand the institution-messenger-audience complex has also yielded the cannabis psa archive and ongoing projects examining the rhetoric of public health institutions.

i'm also a passionate educator, with a student-centered philosophy which i expand upon in my blog and teaching page.

you can check out my curriculum vitae (cv) for an overview of past work.
